HTC returns to sales growth in August

(Telecompaper) HTC reported a return to sales growth in August. Revenues rose 10.4 percent year-on-year and 37.1 percent from the previous month to TWD 14.54 billion. The smartphone maker's revenues in the year to date are still down 13.4 percent from the year-earlier period to TWD 123.33 billion. Sales will need to show continued growth in September in order to meet the company's forecast for third-quarter revenues of TWD 42-47 billion. In July and August, revenues totaled TWD 25.1 billion.
