Harris Teeter and Smithfield donate 25,000 lbs of food

Smithfield, in partnership with Harris Teeter donated 25,000 pounds of protein to the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina as part of the company's Helping Hungry Homes program. As part of its ongoing Helping Hungry Homes program, Smithfield has committed to continue its fight against hunger by making more than 30 large-scale protein donations across the United States in 2016.
