Constructed of lightweight plastic, 12-pin Harsh Environment Connectors are designed with 3-point bayonet locking mechanism. UL and VDE approved units are resistant against climatic conditions as well as industrial and chemical substances. Using crimp contacts to ensure shock- and vibration-resistant termination, connectors are available with silver or gold contacts that accept 26–18 AWG wire. Each contact is rated at 5 A, and 250 V rating can be transmitted overall.
