Hathaway named to U.S. Steel engineering post

David E. Hathaway Jr. has been named general manager - engineering projects at United States Steel Corp. The 46-year-old Hathaway has worked for U.S. Steel since 2000 and has held positions at U.S. Steel Serbia, Granite City Works in Illinois and Pro-Tec Coating Co.
