For Astrium Space Transportation in Munich Ottobrunn within the area Astrium Procurement for the department Space Transportation Propulsion Equipments we are looking for a Head of Procurement Domain wm Propulsion Equipments. Reporting to the Chief Procurement Officer CPO of Astrium Space Transportation, the candidate will manage the procurement portfolio of Satellite and Launcher Propulsion Equipment. Heshe will be the procurement interface for Propulsion Equipment programmes. Main tasks and activities Develop the knowledge of supplier markets corresponding to Propulsion Equipment thrusters, valves, pressure regulators, etc. and capitalise on available data and on current subcontracts, in order to generate added value in the upstream phases of the programmes and in particular in terms of offers to customers Provide the negotiation of contracts and contractualisation with subcontractors Guarantee deliveries of subcontracted products, and implement a continuous progress dynamic with subcontractors Guarantee the setup of the relevant resource and competences at the right time Ensure the interface with the programme teams, as well as the associated reporting Ensure the assessment of procurement performance for the domain and implementation of the relevant improvement actions, including management of data about punctuality, quality, product costs and contract management We are looking for candidates with the following skills Engineer with economic background MBA or equivalent and projectcontract management experience Good procurement background Experience in a Senior Manager role Advanced language skills in German and English Negotiation skills Subcontractor management experience Knowledge of US procurement Manager Communication skills, team spirit, aptitude to functional relationship and external contacts TO APPLY click here
