SYDERAL SWISS designs and produces onboard electronic equipment for space applications. Our extensive references in space programs made us one of the main electronic equipment suppliers in Europe for satellite payloads and platforms. To develop our innovative products, SYDERAL SWISS has endtoend engineering capabilities in digital and analog electronics design as well as embedded software development, and we produce our electronic equipment in our cleanroom production facilities, qualified to space standards. SYDERAL SWISS also has a subsidiary in Poland, SYDERAL Polska Z.O.O., which offers electronic engineering services for space applications. In order to reinforce our team, we are searching for a Head of Programs mf 70 100 Your mission You are in charge of managing and leading your team of project management, product assurance, strategic purchasing, and production. This includes workload planning and coordination as well as skills management and development. You support your team in global planning and project milestones followup. You are in direct contact with customers in case of management meetings or sensitive topics escalated by the Project Managers. You partner the Commercial Department in preliminary commercial contacts with customers, taking part to the programmatic discussions preceding new projects kickoff. Furthermore, you organize your department in order to allow your team to contribute to the proposal process analysis of customers request, programmatic, procurement and subcontracting definition. You are also responsible for budgeting, schedule and global consistency verification. Furthermore, you manage changes to the project contract perimeter or presales estimations or negotiations, in cooperation with the Sales department. Your role includes a close cooperation with the Head of Engineering as well as regular contacts with your counterpart at Syderal Polska in order to build a common understanding and tracking of shared projects. Your profile Holder of a Master degree in engineering, economy or business law, you also developed continuously your management skills and leadership. With proven track records in project management, you can share your related expertise in terms of methodology, applied to longlasting projects. A confirmed experience and interest in people management, as well as a strong economical awareness are part of your assets, associated to a sensitivity to legal aspects. Thanks to a successful experience of minimum 10 years within a similar position or in project management in an industrial engineering environment, a former experience in space industry would be a plus. You show excellent interpersonal skills and an authentic interest in competencies development of functions working in a matrix organization. Excellent negotiator, you have strong analytical skill and confirmed sense of organization and planning. Oral and written fluency in English and French is required for this position.
