Your Mission One of the main tasks of the DLR GfR mbH is to operate and manage the constellation of Galileo satellites from the Galileo Control Center in Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany. DLR GfR mbH has been awarded by Spaceopal with the contract for the Galileo Service Operator Tasks associated to the Galileo Control Center Germany. The project support office is delivering an internal service to managing director, department heads, project management and group leads of the operations team. For the performance of the tasks we are looking for a Head of Project Support Office. Responsibilities Management of the Project Support Office including coordination and personnel management Implementation of the project tasks as well as responsibility for the project management processes Coordination of the legal support Project scheduling and technical project control Project related Quality and Product Assurance Service Delivery Management based on key performance indicators as well as tracking of fulfillment of KPIs Management of the local training program Coordination of the export control Project Management and administrative supporting tasks Reporting Skill Requirements Master degree or equal certificates in industrial engineering, economics or law Longtime experience in legal frameworks and affairs with regard to Space activities Understanding of management techniques like scheduling, risk and quality management techniques Experience in administrative andor technical project management especially with international teams Experience in personnel management and supervisory responsibilities Understanding of the relevant procurement regulations applicable with EC GSA ESA EU would be an asset Fluent in English and German in reading, writing and spoken language Fluent in French or Italian would be an asset Your Start You can look forward to an employer who will value your engagement and who supports your development with various opportunities for further qualifications and training.
