Hexcel to build carbon fiber plant in France

Only days after Airbus received European Aviation Safety Agency flight certification for its A350-900 passenger airliner, Hexcel, one of Airbus' Stamford-based suppliers, announced it will build a carbon fiber production facility in France. In recent years, Hexcel has increased its precursor and carbon fiber capacities through expansions at existing facilities.
