The new and rising generation of travelers, known as #GenMobile, is driving transportation markets to meet the demands for mobile connectivity by providing uninterrupted Wi-Fi activity. The general expectation of such users is for communication services, and the quality of those services, to be no different in the air than they are on the ground. However, this raises many challenges including meeting high bandwidth demands for a large number of users, enabling tight security for all devices, and successfully integrating an in-flight network into an aircraft’s operating environment and work-flow. This white paper introduces and discusses Cabin ACe WAP as a solution from Telefonix PDT for meeting #GenMobile travelers’ high connectivity expectations.
