High court to decide on overtime pay for car dealer workers

The Supreme Court will decide whether people who work as service advisers at auto dealerships are entitled to overtime pay under federal labor laws. The justices agreed Friday to hear an appeal from a California auto dealer that says its service advisers are similar to car salesmen or mechanics who are exempt from overtime requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
