With their gaunt frames, skeletal limbs and tiny waists, catwalk models are notorious for bearing no resemblance to 'ordinary' women. Over the years, designers from Victoria Beckham to Armani have come under fire for using emaciated models - and last month calls were made for a law banning stick-thin figures from the fashion world.
