Retailers expect a healthy holiday sales season, and that means hiring seasonal employees - estimated as many as 800,000 across the nation - to stock, box, ship and ring up sales until 2015. Sales are expected to be up 4.1 percent over the 2013 holiday season, pegged at $616.9 billion, according to the National Retail Federation's forecast.
