Video from a home surveillance system in Colorado Springs provided a rare glimpse at how thieves operate. Last Friday night, near the intersection of Academy Boulevard and Austin Bluffs Parkway, video from Jim Lathrop's camera shows two people driving past his home, then returning for a woman to get out, run across the lawn and steal a package from beside the front door.
