Honolulu real estate investment firm buys Walgreens' Honolulu property for $28M

The Malulani Group Ltd., a Honolulu-based real estate investment and development firm, has purchased the Beretania Street property in Honolulu that includes Walgreens and a Petco from the nation's top drugstore chain for $28 million, CBRE Inc. Hawaii, which listed the property earlier this year, told PBN. Illinois-based Walgreens put the nearly two-acre property at 1121 S. Beretania St. , which includes a 42,804-square-foot building that houses a Walgreens store, as well as a 12,122-square-foot Petco store, on the market just four years after it bought the parcel from Safeway .
