Offering rapid feed rate of 2,480 ipm with acceleration of 1G (X/Y/Z), HMC400 features lightweight column with rigid stepped X axis rail design; built-in rotary table with large bearing in B axis; multi clamp pallet system; and automatic pallet and tool changers. Tools of various sizes, up to 450 mm long, are accepted, and rigid 15K Big Plus Spindle allows HMC to reach cutting speeds of 15,000 rpm in 1.7 sec (with 50 hp).
