U.S. metals mills are hungry for aluminum, but supplies are lagging. Total annual consumption was just under 12 million tons in 2024, falling short of demand by about 4 million tons. And that demand for feed keeps climbing. One huge rolling mill just launched in 2025, with another set to start up this year.
