BusinessGreen: The debate over the speed with which Britain decarbonises its power sector will move from green circles to the Westminster Village this month. MPs are set to debate Tim Yeo and Barry Gardiner's cross-party amendment to the Energy Bill, which proposes a new target to cut power sector carbon intensity to 50gCO2/kWh by 2030. Tory and Lib Dem rebels are both expected to join Labour in supporting the amendment, which has every chance of passing.
