BusinessGreen: Solarcentury's plans to transform its solar farms into wildlife sanctuaries have taken a step forward, after the developer said it was ready to start planting seeds around its solar panels.
The company has partnered with seed supplier Habitat Aid to plant British native trees and plants that aim to create safe havens for dwindling populations of butterflies, bumblebees, and other insects. Yesterday, it announced the first seeds had been harvested and were ready to be sown.
