SME Education Foundation nominated Melissa Meyer for Collegiate Edition of 2014 New Faces of Engineering Program. As senior at University of Wisconsin in Madison, Meyer maintains 3.4 GPA in Geological Engineering program. She has studied nuclear engineering at Technical University of Munich, Germany and received Shell Undergraduate Research Fund Grant. Program recognizes exemplary undergraduate engineering students; winners receive scholarships from $500–$1,000.
