(Telecompaper) Huawei has unveiled in London its new flagship smartphone, the P9. The company worked with Leica to develop a new camera on the smartphone, using two lens with both colour and black and white options to create a high level of detail and quality in photos, even in low light. The camera possibilities will be featured in the marketing campaign for the P9, which stars the actors Henry Cavill and Scarlett Johansson in Shangahi and Hollywood. The P9 features a 5.2-inch 1080P display and runs Huawei's new Kirin 955 2.5 GHz ARM-based processor and a 3,000 mAh battery. It will be available with a choice of 3 GB RAM and 32 GB ROM or 4 GB RAM and 64 GB ROM. A P9 Plus version will offer a bigger 5.5-inch Press Touch display and 3,400 mAh battery with quick charging. The devices will launch 16 April in Europe, China and select Middle East markets.
