Airbus Defence and Space is a division of Airbus Group formed by combining the business activities of Cassidian, Astrium and Airbus Military. It employs some 40,000 employees generating revenues of approximately 14 billion per year. A vacancy for an Human Resources Business Partner has arisen within Airbus Defence Space in Stevenage. The purpose of this role is to work in partnership with the business to provide operational HR support for key clients i.e. line managers to effectively manage their people to implement the business plan. Translating the needs of the business into appropriate HR solutions. The HRBP is able to use internal consultancy skills to provide HR support in specific business areas, identifying and providing competitive advantage through people. The successful candidate will be subject to UK National Security Clearance in order to undertake related work in accordance with business needs. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include I Resourcing Recruitment, Talent development. II Capability and Development Employee development plans. III Performance Management Disciplinary, Capability and performance, Appraisal. IV Reward Annual reviews. V Governance Legal and employee relations, Policy and procedures, HR metrics, Grievance, Project management, Shared services. VI Culture Change management, Employee engagement, Communication, Risk modelling. This role will involve frequent travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience Human Resources Degree or equivalent CIPD qualification or working towards desirable HR generalist with ability to implement organisational change whilst considering the impact to the business and employees Proven experience working on Resourcing and Talent Development, Performance Management, Governance, Strategy and organisational Culture Commercially focused and strong business acumen Experience of operating in a matrix organisation within a shared services HR environment.
