The eyewall of Dorian continues to move away from Grand Bahama Island. However, dangerous winds and life-threatening storm surge will continue over that island for a few more hours. The core of the hurricane is moving nearly parallel to, but offshore of, the east coast of Florida. A sustained wind of 38 mph (61 km/h) and a wind gust of 53 mph (85 km/h) were recently reported at a weather station at Sebastian Inlet.
