A TCOON observing station at Baffin Bay, Texas, recently reported a sustained wind of 63 mph (101 km/h) and a gust to 76 mph (122 km/h) in the northern eyewall of Hanna. A TCOON observing site at Laguna Madre South, Texas, recently measured a sustained wind of 51 mph (82 km/h) and a gust to 59 mph (95 km/h) in the southern eyewall.
