RHEA is currently recruiting an IT Infrastructure Support Engineer to provide Corporate IT Support Services at our clients premises in Noordwijk, The Netherlands. Tasks and Activities Your primary tasks and activities may include Recording and managing incidents and service requests Providing assistance to the user community in the technical and functional use of the services and applications Support the users in obtaining support from the relevant groups for all received requests for applications and products Providing HW and SW installation, repair, support and maintenance of PCs, workstations and laptops Servers e.g. SharepointFile Servers, Terminal Services environments TSE, Backup Servers, Apple Servers, DOORS requirements management server, applications license servers, EOPspecific document management servers Macintosh computers Scanners, printers, faxes, digital senders and plotters PDAs and Smartphones Shared network resources Specific applications and nonstandard SW Project database e.g. Lotus Notes, Windows Providing support and, when required, management, to all IT projects Managing the Apple infrastructure, performing any required system administration task, including tuning, improvements and upgrades Guarantying and maintaining interoperability of the EOP environment with the standard ESA Corporate environment Maintaining end users distribution lists per application or per group, depending on needs. Distribution lists shall be typically used for notification of downtimes, upgrade, release notes, etc. Performing corrective maintenance in response to user reported problems In addition, Overseeing the installation, setup, configuration, upgrade, administration, troubleshooting, monitoring daily operations of server and hw infrastructure Evaluating and maintaining the infrastructure, and guaranteeing value for money in the case of upgrading or replacing elements, suggesting upgrades, changes, and consolidation, as necessary to the benefit of the Agency Managing the different Operating Systems Windows, Unix, Mac OS, Linux, Solaris taking care of system administration tasks, installation, maintenance, upgrade, troubleshooting and monitoring Guaranteeing coordination and support with any external team for any activity requiring interaction and coordination Managing the HW lifecycle of the infrastructure in scope and prepare, and maintain yearly, a multiyear replacement plan Setup and maintaining an inventory management system and processing to record and track any IT HW, SW and OS licences belonging to EOP For any SW tool Managing the SW lifecycle and evolution Implementing immediately urgent and security related upgrades, Reporting on any non urgent upgrademigration need in the Monthly Report, Executing agreed upgrades Dedicating launch campaign support HW, SW, network, EGSE setup, NDIU setup Assisting the users to correctly describereport a perceived problem to the Corporate Service Desk Providing expert advice and support on the most common ESA standard software e.g SAP, EclipseDMS, MS Office, MS Access, MS Project, Visio, Adobe Acrobat, Lotus Notes, Explorer to EOP users Providing installation support for the most common desktop tools used in EOP Providing recommendation for hardware and software procurements, as well as performing software and hardware testing for potential purchase Analysing possible technical solution to projects or users requests and issues, modifying the existing solution integrating already existing software or applications or developing adhoc solutions Skills and Experience You must possess the following skills and experience At least 5 years of experience in an IT support environment for a mediumlarge organization Extensive knowledge of SAP, EclipseDMS, MS Office, MS Access, MS Project, Visio, Adobe Acrobat, Lotus Notes, Explorer Previous experience with HWSW and AudioVideo infrastructure maintenance including procurement activities Knowledge of Operating Systems Windows, Unix, Mac OS, Linux, Solaris Ability to work within a team, with a customeroriented attitude Fluency in English Possession of ITIL certification will be considered an advantage.
