You will have the opportunity to provide IT Proximity Engineering support to our client located in Noordwijk, The Netherlands. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include You will be managing system administration tasks. You will be performing task installation of OS via Image or Deploy via ISO or other methods You will be managing and maintaining system and security patches via SCCM. You will be planning, testing and deploying upgrades of operating systems. You will be troubleshooting and monitoring issues You will be managing and upgrading an array of different computer hardware and operating systems ranging from Windows Clients Windows 7, 10 Windows Server 2012, Windows Azure and Microsoft System Center 2012 MAC OS X Yosemite and El Capitan Unix, Linux and Solaris. You will be in charge of the installation, setup and configuration, upgrades, administration and troubleshooting on client PCs, MACs or VMs. You will be installing and configuring new hardware such as TFT, MFP Printers and a host of other Computer peripherals. You will be in charge of the installation, setup and configuration WebEx or other videoconference services. You will be managing the installation, setup and configuration Network solutions and VPN clients. You will be providing all round support to our user base in a cordial and professional manner, focusing on providing speedy resolutions to any issues or requests. You will be providing expert advice, solutions and support of the most common Software used within standardized software environment e.g. SharePoint, SAP, EclipseDMS, MS Office Suite 2013, MS Project, MS Visio, Adobe Acrobat, Lotus Notes, Explorer to users. You will be providing support to users with Mobile devices and configuring mail. You will be assisting the users to correctly describereport a perceived problem to the Corporate Service Desk, Take ownership of the issue and following the resolution to the satisfaction of the user. You will be maintaining the current Asset inventory management system and processing to record and track any IT HW, SW and OS licenses belonging to the Directorate. You will be working within the Security Guidelines and ensuring the integrity of clients data. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory You have a Bachelor degree or equivalent education 5 years work experience. You have significant 5 years prior experience of operating systems standards Windows 7, Windows 10, GPOs, Registry Kernel level tweaks and similar platform technologies in a largescale, complex, global environment. You have at least 5 years experience in management of Failover Cluster as well as standalone servers, a core understanding and troubleshooting HyperV technologies and VMware technologies. You have at least 5 years of experience in architecture, building and maintaining server systems. You have at least 35 years of experience in operations, administration and maintenance of Microsoft SQL Server 20082012 and Microsoft SharePoint 2010 2013. You have at least 2 years of experience in running and supporting Microsoft System Centre Suite, Significant experience on Microsoft SCCM. You are flexible and adapt easily to change, you are able to manage constantly changing priorities. You are able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks. You are heavily client focused and an excellent team player. You have scripting experience in one or more scripting languages Powershell, C, C, VB.NET andor C development skills. You have experience with Microsoft Exchange You have demonstrated experience in configuring and setting up DAS and SAN Storage Solutions. You are able to run reports to provide information both for the management team and the Proximity support team. You have a core understanding of Firewalls and Network Routing is essential.
