Moreover, we actively manage your professional development, training and career progression. We are looking for an IV Integration Verification Engineer mfd to work at EUMETSAT in Darmstadt, Germany. YOUR TASKS The candidate would have the opportunity to work as an Integration Verification Engineer for one of our main Space customers in Darmstadt, Germany, focused on meteorological satellites. Mainly, the Engineer will have to execute the integration, verification and support the validation of the clients system, taking into consideration the specifics of all of the CFI version and their contents and to demonstrate the functional capabilities of the system through a system IVV process. The tasks will include Contribution to management and programmatic activities Engineering activities for IV Integration activities Verification activities Contribution to validation activities YOUR PROFILE Essential Requirements Additional to an University degree or equivalent in an engineering or scientific discipline relevant to the job profile the mandatory skills and experience include At least 3 years proven working experience Proven ability in IV of complex systems Requirements and verification management Formal testing at component, facility and system level Creation of suitable test cases, documentation and their execution Experience in benchmarking and stress testing Structured software development and verification Software maintenance, performance monitoring ECSS standards Experience in operational environments under strict change control Configuration control Known Applications Near realtime, Earth observation data processing, archiving, distribution Satellite monitoring and control e.g. SCOS2000 Mission control functions Satellite communications packet TMTC, PUS, SLE protocol Ground Station monitoring and control SpecificProduct Skills Automated Testing Requirements and verification management using DOORS Scripting languages in a Linux environment Programming languages CC, Java, Javascript, XML, Perl, TclTk Operating systems UNIXLinux and Windows Relational databases MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL Networking Internet protocols, TCPIP programming, network monitoring WE OFFER With SCISYS you get the chance to take responsibility for your own and varied professional activities, while there is always room for producing new ideas and contributing your personality.
