(Telecompaper) French telecom group Iliad, which operates under the Free brand, reported revenue up 11.8 percent to EUR 1.06 billion in the third quarter, compared with EUR 944 million in the third quarter of 2013. Mobile revenue rose by 29.6 percent to EUR 416 million and landline revenue grew by 2.6 percent to EUR 642 million. Free Mobile had 480,000 net adds in the quarter, taking its total customer base to 9.58 million, representing a 14 percent market share. Its mobile business benefited from enriching its plans, including adding roaming destinations and its rollout of Sim card dispensers to over 600 locations by the end of September. Free added 70,000 net broadband customers in the third quarter to take the total to 5.81 million. Broadband ARPU came in at EUR 35.50 per month in the third quarter, down slightly on EUR 35.80 in the second quarter. ARPU generated by the Freebox Revolution high-end subscriptions was constant at EUR 38.
