Connected between image sensor and application processors (AP) and used for Bayer data processing, MB86S29 lets module makers implement functions without replacing AP. Users can configure APs with same interface directory connected to image sensors and utilize phase detect AF or HDR. Able to process 16M pixel images at 30 fps, 4 x 4 mm processor has 4 lanes each of 2.1 Gbps MIPI Rx/Tx and is also applicable for noise reduction, shading correction, and 3A (AE/AF/AWB) detection.
