2020-06-19 20:09:27| EmergingTextiles.com

India is accumulating very large cotton stocks, which should depress market prices for two seasons. Indian spinners could take advantage of the lower material costs, as a result, if yarn prices do not fall too significantly, in the meantime. Our weekly review of Indian yarn prices covers the domestic and export markets, including carded and combed cotton, poly-cotton, poly-viscose, 100% polyester, and 100% viscose. Major yarn production centers are covered with Tirupur (Tamil Nadu), Bhiwandi (Maharashtra) and Ludhiana (Punjab). Yarn prices are compared with fiber prices, and offering the latest trends of spinners' margins.
