Cotton stocks are offered at heavily discounted prices in India, boosting margins at spinning mills. India's cotton production will rise significantly in the next season, due to the minimum support prices, with the production of organic cotton also surging. Our weekly review of Indian yarn prices covers the domestic and export markets, including carded and combed cotton, poly-cotton, poly-viscose, 100% polyester, and 100% viscose. Major yarn production centers are covered with Tirupur (Tamil Nadu), Bhiwandi (Maharashtra) and Ludhiana (Punjab).
