Cotton yarn prices have further dropped in the last seven days in India, after previously stabilizing. Exports could be further depressed by foreign competition, especially from Pakistan. The market is expected to recover in the next season, nevertheless. Our weekly review of Indian yarn prices covers the domestic and export markets, including carded and combed cotton, poly-cotton, poly-viscose, 100% polyester, and 100% viscose. Major yarn production centers are covered with Tirupur (Tamil Nadu), Bhiwandi (Maharashtra) and Ludhiana (Punjab). Yarn prices are compared with fiber prices, and offering the latest trends of spinners' margins.
