Yarn prices have moved in different directions in the past week in India, in line with opposite trends in fiber prices. We release for the first time this week a table comparing cotton, polyester, and viscose fiber prices on India's domestic market. Our weekly review of Indian yarn prices covers the domestic and export markets, including carded and combed cotton, poly-cotton, poly-viscose, 100% polyester, and 100% viscose. Major yarn production centers are covered with Tirupur (Tamil Nadu), Bhiwandi (Maharashtra) and Ludhiana (Punjab). Yarn prices are compared with fiber prices, and offering the latest trends of spinners' margins.
