Cotton yarn prices have begun to decline in the last week in India, falling for the first time in three months, as demand from China has disappeared over the coronavirus crisis. Our weekly review of Indian yarn prices covers the domestic and export markets, including carded and combed cotton, poly-cotton, poly-viscose, 100% polyester, and 100% viscose. Major yarn production centers are covered with Tirupur (Tamil Nadu), Bhiwandi (Maharashtra) and Ludhiana (Punjab).
