Cotton yarn prices have continued to decline slightly in India, as prices are progressively stabilizing on the market. India's yarn exports could have plunged by 80% to 90% in April, in line with a fall of 91% in apparel exports, from a year earlier. Our weekly review of Indian yarn prices covers the domestic and export markets, including carded and combed cotton, poly-cotton, poly-viscose, 100% polyester, and 100% viscose. Major yarn production centers are covered with Tirupur (Tamil Nadu), Bhiwandi (Maharashtra) and Ludhiana (Punjab). Yarn prices are compared with fiber prices, and offering the latest trends of spinners' margins.
