Cotton prices have bottomed out in India as state-run CCI refrained from selling its stocks. Record inventories of unsold fibers could pressure the domestic and the global fiber and yarn market prices in the next season, as a result. Our weekly review of Indian yarn prices covers the domestic and export markets, including carded and combed cotton, poly-cotton, poly-viscose, 100% polyester, and 100% viscose. Major yarn production centers are covered with Tirupur (Tamil Nadu), Bhiwandi (Maharashtra) and Ludhiana (Punjab). Yarn prices are compared with fiber prices, and offering the latest trends of spinners' margins.
