Indonesia Apparel Exports (Country Report)

2015-01-28 22:04:20| EmergingTextiles.com

Indonesia's apparel exports began significantly slowing down in 2014, amid higher labour costs and with the national currency no more falling. The higher export prices compared with rival Asian countries have negatively affected demand from the US market, by far the leading destination of Indonesian clothing exports. The country however retains an advantage in a series of product categories, as reflected by our detailed tables. Our statistical series provide a comprehensive view of Indonesia's clothing exports, with an exhaustive review of US and EU imports per product category.
