Indonesia Apparel Exports in 4th Quarter and Full 2018 (Country Report)

2019-04-25 23:26:41| EmergingTextiles.com

Apparel exports from Indonesia are recovering at the start of 2019 after experiencing a significant decline in the second half last year. The continuous rise of labor costs in the past years and the lack of duty-free access to EU's market have depressed demand. Sales are however surging to emerging markets in Asia, and also to Australia where they should be further boosted by a just signed Free Trade Agreement. Our statistical series provide a comprehensive picture of Indonesia's textile and clothing exports and imports, per month, year and destination, with an exhaustive review of US and EU imports per product category.
