Under the new policy, called the Industrial Policy Resolution 2015, all proposed industrial projects need to be cleared within a set time frame. The unveiling of the government's industrial policy resolution coincided with a meeting between chief minister Naveen Patnaik and Vedanta group's chief executive officer Tom Albanese at the state secretariat.
