Canada's regulatory system may be holding back the country's livestock industry as it prepares to compete in a market that is moving away from antibiotic use in food animals. According to the Canadian Meat Council, we export $3.19 billion worth of pork to 99 countries and $1.3 billion worth of beef to 71 countries.
