Using MEMS technology to sense translational movement in 3 perpendicular axes and rotational movement about 3 perpendicular axes, 6DF Series provides motion, position, and navigational sensing over 6° of freedom. IMU measures motion of equipment onto which it is attached and delivers data to equipment's control module via CAN SAE J1939 communications protocol. Sealed in aluminum packaging with IP67/IP69k ratings, device offers corrosion resistance and chemical compatibility in harsh environments.
