Inflation in Emerging Countries (Monthly Report)

2019-03-25 11:24:59| EmergingTextiles.com

Inflation rates are everywhere under control, except for two major textile exporting countries, Pakistan and Turkey. In Pakistan, inflation rates are returning to higher levels due to the surge of import prices also affecting Turkey. After benefiting from the fall of their currencies, exporters could find it difficult to compete, eventually. Our monthly report offers a comparison of inflation rates in low-cost countries, with historical data available back to June 2007. Impact of currency changes vs the US dollar, the euro and the Sterling is also calculated to assess real terms of trade for exporters.
