Inflation is emerging in a series of low-income countries, which could trigger protests and requests for higher wages, therefore affecting the global apparel market. In China, the pork swine flu is pushing up food prices, whereas in Pakistan and Turkey, currencies are no more dropping, putting pressure on exporters still confronted with high inflation rates.
