Intended for proximity sensor applications as well as optical touch panels, 2 top view SMD 850 nm LEDs include HIR89-01C with 30° viewing angle and radiant intensity of 55 mW/sr at 70 mA as well as HIR91-01C/L297 with 40° viewing angle and intensity of 40 mW/sr at 70 mA. For side-view touch applications smaller than 80 in., HIR83-01B is supplied in SMD package and features radiant intensity of 5 mW/sr at 20 mA and viewing angle of 100°(X)/40°(Y).
