(Telecompaper) Facebook has announced it will begin integrating advertisements on Instragram, the photo and video-sharing service it purchased for approximately USD 1 billion in 2012, reported The Wall Street Journal. The announcement marks Instagram's first step toward creating a revenue-generating experience. Just over a year after Facebook purchased Instagram, the company has yet to gain revenue for its parent company. A Facebook spokesman said the company was treading lightly to make the ads as unobtrusive as possible in order to retain Instagram's user experience.
