Intended for broadcasters, cable/satellite operators, and telecom services, BE-IRD-5600 features front panel confidence monitor, frame synchronization capabilities, and both 4:2:2/4:2:0 and MPEG-2/MPEG-4 (H.264/AVC) decoding. Built-in multiplexer allows user to create customized single program or multiple program transport streams over IP. Other features include BISS/BISS-E descrambler, HD to SD down-conversion, and 2 PCMCIA Common Interface card slots to support Conditional Access systems.
