Intel chief confirms layoffs could affect 'hundreds' at company sites

Intel's top executive, in confirming that layoffs at Oregon's largest private employer and other company locations are imminent, said the losses will be limited to generally a few hundred" posts per Intel location. So reports the Oregonian , which received a copy of the memo Brian Krzanich sent to employees on Tuesday.
