Featuring closed frame with retractable connectors, iPOS4808 BX-CAT can control rotary or linear brushless, DC brush, and step motors with powers up to 400 W and voltages up to 50 V. Drive offers up to 8 A continuous and 20 A peak. Based on MotionChip™ technology, unit can operate as standard EtherCAT drive that accepts CAN application protocol over EtherCAT, or as intelligent drive that can be programmed to execute complex motion profiles directly at drive level using built-in motion controller.
