Capable of 10 A continuous and 20 A peak current, Model iPOS8010 BX-CAT offers universal solution for control of rotary or linear brushless, DC brush, and step motors with powers up to 800 W and voltages up to 80 V. Unit can operate as standard EtherCAT drive that accepts CAN application protocol over EtherCAT, or as intelligent drive that can be programmed to execute complex motion profiles directly at drive level using built-in motion controller as well as Technosoft Motion Language.
