International Paper names Sutton as CEO and chairman, Faraci to retire

International Paper selects Mark Sutton as its new CEO , effective Nov. 1, and chairman of the board, effective Jan. 1. Sutton currently is IP's president and COO, responsible for leading and running the company's global operations, and previously had been senior VP for industrial packaging.
