Used with Summit Protocol Analyzers, Model SFF-8639 enables PCIe® bus traffic between host backplane and dual port SSD device to be monitored, captured, and recorded for protocol analysis. Card supports PCIe host interfaces such as NVM Express and SCSI Express, protocols at data rates from 2.5–8 GT/s, and lane widths of x2 per port. To use interposer, 2 ½ or 3 in. drive is inserted into drive tray on interposer that supports mechanical and electrical connection to SFF-8639 connector.
